Research Work

We focus on the study of the mechanisms underlying transmission and modulation of visual signals in the retina, using electrophysiological, calcium-imaging, immunohistochemical and pharmacological approaches.

Research Direction

I. Information processing in the vertebrate retina and underlying mechanisms;

II. Remodeling of retinal neurons and glial cells under some pathological conditions.
