Instrument Introduction

The Bussey-Saksida Touch Screen Chamber features a unique trapezoidal wall shape in order to focus the animal's attention and facilitates the efficient and high-throughput cognitive evaluation of rodents. This system allows usage of standard and customized paradigms. Standard paradigms include popular Tasks such as Paired/Visual Discrimination Reversal Task (PD), Paired-Associate Learning Task (PAL), 4-Choice Gambling Task (4C-GT) and 5-choice Serial Reaction Time Task (5CSRT). Standard task paradigms include training routines as well as the main experimental paradigm and the data analysis sets. Users can also set up customized task paradigms according to their experimental requirements.
