Instrument Introduction

Fear conditioning exploits the Pavlovian association between an unpleasant unconditioned stimulus (shock) to a conditioned neutral stimulus (sound cue or context) to measure learning and memory in rodents. Using a video tracking software, this system can detect the subtle movements of animals and save the video for review after the experiment. Each test chamber is equipped with a speaker, lights and an electrical shocker, which are directly controlled by the software. Users can set up customized experimental procedures according to their experimental requirements.
