Instrument Introduction

This system is used to analyze the gait of spontaneous walking in mice. The system consists an enclosed walkway on a glass plate, a high-speed color camera and a gait analysis software. When a mouse spontaneously traverses the glass walkway, the paw prints will be captured and recorded by the camera. The video images with paw prints are used in the footprint classification and subsequent calculation of a wide number of data parameters. This system has been certified for use in various neurological disorders and research experiments, such as spinal cord injury, nerve injury, neuropathic pain, arthritis, stroke, Parkinson's disease, cerebellar dyskinesia, invasive brain injury, peripheral nervous system injury, etc.
