The Sony MA900 flow cytometer supports detection of 12 fluorescence parameters and 4-channel cell sorting, which can meet the needs of most sorting applications. The MA900 system is equipped with powerful modern technologies, including microfluidic chip based design, comprehensive fluid control, and advanced automation functions, which greatly simplify operations, reduce subjectivity in sorting, and improve reliability. Sorting chips come in various specifications (70μm, 100μm, and 130μm). Up to 4 types of lasers (488 nm, 638 nm, 405 nm, and 561 nm) can be used to detect up to 12 fluorescence parameters and 2 scattered light parameters. There are various specifications of sample tubes, supporting loading of 0.5 mL, 1.5 mL, 5 mL, and 15 mL tubes. It can provide sorting for 2, 4, and porous plates (6, 12, 24, 48, 96, and 384 well plates, etc.). It can provide highly intelligent automated operation processes, allowing for optimal positioning calibration of sorting chips and lasers and precise cell sorting with just one click during startup, sterile cleaning, QC, and sorting settings.
