Description:
The five-choice task requires the animal to detect brief flashes of light presented pseudo-randomly across five spatial locations signaled by a nose-poke response. This system can be used for measuring various performance including accuracy, premature responding, correct response, latency of response, etc. These parameters provide index of attentional function and impulsivity. Eight animals can be tested simultaneity.
