Description:
The test is based on determination of the animal threshold response to pain induced by the application of a uniformly increasing pressure. In this system, a stimulation unit allows the gradual increase (at selectable rates) of the pressure applied on the animal. When animal performs reaction to the pressure, e.g. withdraw the paw or tail, the value of pressure is recorded. Maximum stimuli could reach 999 gram and stimuli resolution is 1 gram.
